The Idea
The defining element of this concept is the angled H within the TOPH wordmark. A subtle but intentional decision that visually reinforces the character of the brand. By slightly tilting the H, a natural separation appears between TOP and the final letter. The eye unconsciously reads “TOP” first before completing the word as TOPH.
This creates a layered wordplay without needing explanation:
TOP = excellent, high quality
TOF = how the name sounds when spoken, playful and approachable
TOPH = the brand itself
Three meanings contained within four letters.
Why It Works
Movement
The angled H introduces motion into an otherwise clean and geometric wordmark. Film is movement by nature, and the logo subtly reflects that energy without becoming overly expressive or distracting.
Connected to the Existing Identity
The typography remains bold, modern, and geometric, closely aligned with the visual language TOPH Films already uses. Rather than creating a complete departure, the concept feels like a natural evolution of the brand. Familiar, but more refined and intentional.
